Esraa Alobaidat

Esraa Alobaidat is a PhD student in Land Use Planning, Management, and Design (LPMD) at Texas Tech University. Her interdisciplinary work bridges architectural design and urban planning, with a particular focus on spatial analysis and sustainable development strategies.

Prior to joining Texas Tech University, Esraa gained academic and professional experience in Jordan, where she taught at Jordan University of Science and Technology and Al al-Bayt University and worked with Zarqa Municipality on housing and land-use regulation.

Her research interests include urban transformation, housing affordability, social infrastructure, and the spatial dynamics of rapidly changing cities. Through her work, she examines how architectural and planning approaches can contribute to more sustainable, equitable, and responsive urban environments.
