Doreen Shingai Mudiwa

Doreen Shingai Mudiwa is a PhD student in Land Use Planning, Management, and Design (LPMD) at Texas Tech University. She holds a BSc (Honors) in Regional and Urban Planning, an MSc in Tourism and Hospitality Planning, and an MSc in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Tech University.

Her research interests span academic interdisciplinarity and interculturalism, impact identification and amelioration, and urban, regional, tourism, and environmental planning, redesign, and regeneration.

Beyond her academic work, Doreen is an educator, researcher, writer, outreach and charity ambassador, motivational author, and speaker. Her work reflects a commitment to connecting interdisciplinary knowledge, education, and community engagement to create meaningful social and environmental impact.
